AdvancedMD Telehealth
Start the visit from the AdvancedMD chart. The scribe listens and drafts the note in your own template as you talk. You read it over and place it in the encounter yourself. On AdvancedMD, opening that encounter is still a manual step.
Trusted by AdvancedMD practices nationwideWhat a visit looks like
The video call is the straightforward half. The scribe exists for the documentation that follows it.
Open the visit
Launch from AdvancedMD or send a reusable room link. Patients join in a browser and wait until you admit them.
The scribe drafts the note
AdvancedMD patient context feeds the scribe, which transcribes the conversation and drafts a clinical note in your template.
Edit and file
Review the draft, make changes, and place the note into the AdvancedMD encounter. Creating that encounter automatically is still in development.
What practices say
The scribe starts with the patient's record
Pulling AdvancedMD patient context before the visit means the draft is written against what is already documented instead of treating every appointment as a first meeting.
- Pulls AdvancedMD patient context into the scribe
- Clinical note drafted in your uploaded template
- Full transcript kept next to the note
- Separate provider and patient summaries from one session

Nothing for the patient to install
Appointments are lost to app installs and forgotten passwords more often than to bad connections. A browser link with a waiting room avoids that entirely.
- No download, no account, no password
- Reusable room links for recurring visits
- Waiting room so patients are admitted rather than dropped in
- Works from a phone browser

Questions we get asked first
The things AdvancedMD practices want settled before a demo.
Does the note go into the AdvancedMD encounter on its own?
Not yet. The scribe drafts it and reads patient context from AdvancedMD, but creating the encounter and importing the note are still in development. That is live on Practice Fusion only.
What does the scribe read before the visit?
AdvancedMD patient context is pulled in so the draft is written against the existing record rather than from the conversation alone.
Can notes match our current format?
Yes. Templates are uploadable, and drafts come back in that shape. Everything is reviewed and edited by the provider before it is filed.
What do patients need to join?
A link and a browser, on a phone or a computer. No app and no account.
Is the visit recorded?
It is transcribed so the note can be drafted, and the transcript remains available beside the note. State consent rules vary and are the practice's responsibility.
